Drawings and models

FOR FUN

I love painting and drawing since I was little, I was always creative and play with designs. I started drawing a lot in high school as I decided to become an architect and I enjoyed a lot playing with textures and colors. As soon as I started university I learned hand modeling which was one of my favorite activities. Since I started working there is not much time to paint or do hand models however I hope I would be able to use those skills more often in my professional life.

My favorite painting technique for architecture is a combination of watercolor and ink pen. But I love to use pencil or just watercolor to achieve different effects. Recently I started painting more with acrylic paints.

My models were usually done from balsa wood cut by hand or cardboard laser-cut.

Painting & sketching

VARIOUS TECHNIQUES

I painted for many years focusing mostly on architecture but not only. Most often I used a pencil to capture the textures of the object, watercolor for landscapes and nature, and ink pens to get the maximum amount of detail in the drawing.

Some of the paintings below were made from the observation of the building some from reference pictures and some from imagination.

Maquettes

VARIETY OF PROJECTS

My favorite manual work is maquette building which I was making for my projects and as well for small clients. Most of them I cut by hand and use simple materials like cardboard, balsa wood, and thin Plexi glass for a clean and simple effect.

I work on various projects from urban scale to small architecture and from concept design to final detailed models.
